MyChurch is a very simple church….We are designed by God to accomplish 3 things in every aspect of what we do:
We remove barriers
We Love God and people
We serve and give together
Every person on this planet has barriers, something or some set of things that are keeping them at arms distance from God. Jesus Christ modeled for us the relationships and actions that very intentionally begin to remove those barriers and draw people one step closer to God. These barriers may be:
Physical - real life issues that distract from God (i.e. hunger, sickness, location) Emotional - hurts carried from prior negative experiences of church or "church people". These might be personal history barriers like abuse or broken relationships, etc. Mental - questions about God that have not been answered.

We are part of the Wesleyan church, named for our founder, John Wesley.
Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit. We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
We are a Christ-centered local church with global impact. We are affecting every home in our community and the people of the world.

Back in the early 40’s, newlyweds Ed and Arlene Eddy obeyed a call from God to plant a new church in Flint, MI. During their years of faithful ministry in that church, and eventually as missionaries in Sierra Leone, Africa, they had three daughters, including Connie, their middle child. Fast forward to the early 80’s, when Jon and Connie (Eddy) Farmer received God’s direction to plant a new church in the growing northwest area of Tucson, Arizona, which lay at the foot of the beautiful Catalina Mountain range. So they packed up their children, Danny, Dusty and Tami, and moved from the lush green hills of Kentucky, where Jon was attending seminary, to the dry heat of the desert.
